Shri Vijayakumar Gupthan was born on 10th May 1974, at the ancesterial home in Palakkad,Kerala, and is the third son of Astrologer Shri.(late) Krishnan Kutty Gupthan who represents the 9th generation of this astrology family.Vijaykumar Gupthan has been studying Sanskrit grandhas which includes Amarakosam,Tharkam and Vyakaranam. In astrology Jathakadesam, Horasasthram,Prashanamargam(Ashtamangalya prashna and Devaprashna),Ganithanirnayam for Panchanga Ganitham (Almanac).After completing college education he has been accompanying his father in Temple Ashtamangalya prashna and in Panchanga Ganitham for the past 20years. Apart from this he is also publishing “ Bharatha Panchangam “ (From the year 2012 August- Malayalam Year 1188) ,“ Kerala Panchangam’ ,Kerala Jyothisha Parishath Panchangam . Vijaykumar is instrumental in combining both astrology and ‘vasthu’ in collaboration with Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad (son) renowned vasthu pandit of Kerala and is now providing services at various centres in India.
